Installing FTAnalyzer

System Requirements

  • Windows 10 version 1809 or later (64-bit)
  • .NET 10 runtime (installed automatically by the Microsoft Store version)

Option 1 — Microsoft Store (Recommended)

Installing from the Microsoft Store is the simplest method and keeps the app up to date automatically.

  1. Click Get FTAnalyzer from the Microsoft Store
  2. Click Get (or Install) on the Store page
  3. The app and the required .NET 10 runtime are installed for you
  4. FTAnalyzer will appear in your Start menu and update automatically

If the Store shows the app as owned but not installed, follow the Windows Store reset instructions to resolve the issue.

You can create a desktop shortcut by dragging the FTAnalyzer icon from the Start menu to the desktop.

Option 2 — Standalone Installer

A standalone installer is available from the Releases page for users who:

  • Cannot use the Microsoft Store
  • Need to run on an older Windows 10 build

The standalone version is functionally identical to the Store version but requires manual updates — you will need to download and reinstall each new release yourself.

Note: If you previously ran an old ClickOnce version of FTAnalyzer, uninstall it via Windows Settings → Apps before installing the current version.
